Work on our company-devised project Displaced, which was part of REDCAT's Studio Showings last year, continues with a series of on-going rehearsals that are introducing elements of multimedia such as projection to the performance. Our company-devised piece Displaced was part of REDCAT's Studio Showings today in Downtown Los Angeles. It was a short and intense rehearsal period for actors Nicola Bertram and Katie Rodriquez with the challenge of technically demanding physical theatre with masks, choreography, and music.

Displaced is a company devised project currently in early-stage rehearsals. Employing a mix of physical theatre, dance, mask, music and sound effects the project brings together a core team of Los Angeles based performance specialists and theatre practitioners.
The play is an exploration of the current global refugee crisis. The story follows one man's escape from his war-torn homeland to the shores of Europe and charting the highs and lows, the friendships, hostilities, fear, and religious intolerance that he encounters along the way.
